Redistributing Resources. Redefining Futures
Pay Black Women exists to redistribute resources, visibility, and opportunity directly into the hands of Black women and members of marginalized communities. We provide direct financial support, offer skill-building opportunities, and amplify the voices and stories of our community—because economic justice isn’t a promise, it’s a practice.
The cost of being overlooked
Black women face some of the deepest economic inequities in the U.S.—and those numbers aren’t just data.
These numbers are not personal failures. They’re systemic choices.
Our work begins where systems fail—and builds something better.
How We Move Resources and Power
Our work is rooted in redistribution, not reform. We fund Black women directly, build capacity through shared knowledge, and amplify voices often ignored. These are our three pillars:
đź’¸ Direct Funding
We move money into Black women’s hands—no strings attached. From microgrants to emergency support, our funding is designed to meet real needs, on our terms.
🧠Skill-Building & Support
Workshops, coaching, and peer knowledge exchanges designed to expand opportunity and keep Black women resourced—not just resilient.
📢 Visibility & Storytelling
We spotlight the voices and labor of Black women through media, campaigns, and narrative tools that shift power and perception.
